A real question
Prague: can a foreigner get a medical cannabis prescription?
In short
Yes, through the medical route, not the 2026 change to the law. A licensed Czech doctor can issue a prescription after a remote consultation, without a Czech ID number, and you buy at a pharmacy there. The provider confirmed to us in writing that it works for tourists.
The shops in Prague and the 2026 change to Czech law make it look wide open. That change is about personal possession and does not open sales, and bringing cannabis from home needs a ministry permit. The route that works for a visitor is a Czech prescription.
What we handle for you
You register without a Czech ID number, and we know exactly what to fill in. We prepare the registration and the questionnaire with you and stay with you until the prescription is in hand. The medicine is bought in Czechia and stays there, and we coordinate pharmacy stock in advance. Without Czech insurance you pay the full price of the medicine, so you know that before you decide.
Start about a month before the trip. You pay part to start, and the rest only once the prescription is in hand. Tell us when you are flying, and we will get started.
Want us to sort it out for you?
Tell us where and when you are travelling. We will tell you the route, what we need from you and how long it takes, and we take the rest off your hands. And if we find along the way that the route is closed, your fee comes back.
